l. If the required characteristics are not listed in PART I of this QPL, part numbers may be assigned in accordance with the latest issue of MIL-S-24236. They shall be within the limitations listed for each manufacturer.

2. Care must be taken so as not to generate part numbers which are impossible or impractical to fabricate. For example, the differential between the opening and closing temperatures normally should not exceed 200 °F. Also, the practical minimum differential between the opening and closing temperatures will depend on the operating temperature range.
